The richest and most grown-up of the foil leaf colorways. The ground is a deep cool wine burgundy with a plum lean rather than an orange one, and the gold sitting on it skews warm and heavily antiqued, with plenty of tarnished bronze sprigs mixed among the champagne ones. The result looks less like a printed ribbon and more like a piece of old tapestry.
At 7/8 inch the laurel sprigs line up into a single trailing vine that zigzags gently down the length, framed by braided metallic gold wired edges on both sides. Of the narrow colorways this one carries the strongest reverse ghost of the design, so twisted tails still show pattern rather than going flat.
